No puede haber un juego de Estrellas sin un evento previo e igual de esperado, en ese donde salen batazos por arriba de la Barda: el Home Run Derby. Si hacemos un poco de memoria el año pasado el querido Yankee Robinson Canó fué el gran ganador, despues de disputarse la última ronda con el Mexicano y 1B de Boston Red Sox, Adrián González.
Nuestro querido Robinson Canó como ganador del año pasado, quien aparte se robo el show debido a que fué su Padre, el Sr. José Canó quien se encargo de lanzar las pelotas y consiguieron hacer una gran mancuerna ganadora. Canó entonces, funge como Capitán este año, por el lado de la Liga Americana, por la Liga Nacional el Capitán será Matt Kemp, y el Festival de Cuadrangulares, queda de la Siguiente manera:
